Join us for our members-only session on Consortia Sustainability, co-facilitated by  Deborah Obalil and Charlie Barlow.

Sustaining your consortium through the ups and downs facing higher education is top of mind for many consortia leaders.

Join Deborah Obalil, President & Executive Director of the Association of Independent Colleges of Art & Design, and Charlie Barlow, Executive Director of the Boston Library Consortium, for an ACL Coffee Chat where all participants can share their experiences and ask questions of each other on the topic.

The conversation will cover at least three key areas impacting consortia sustainability:

  • Membership criteria - friend or foe? designing strategically and approaches to making changes
  • Financial model - the tension between stability and sustainability
  • Member recruitment, retention and communicating value
